Safety and Legal Notices

New and returning guests are provided with equipment and safety training to ensure everyone's safety. In addition to the training that will be provided, we encourage all guests to review basic safety and equipment information prior to arrival. We are committed to everyone's safety.

We require all guests to be age 18 or older to operate equipment independently. If you are unclear about any of the training and riding requirements or have questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

ATV

Wisconsin
The State of Wisconsin requires that anyone operating an ATV, born on or after January 1, 1988, complete a safety certification course. If you or your guests fall within this category, there are two options. The first is to ride as a passenger on one of the vehicles. The second option is to complete an on-line safety course to receive a temporary safety certification. Visit the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources website to sign up for online safety classes.

    The State of Minnesota requires that anyone operating an ATV, born after July 1, 1987, complete an ATV CD training course. If you or your guests fall within this category, there are two options. The first is to ride as a passenger on one of the vehicles. The second option is to complete the CD training course during your first day with The PAC and receive a temporary safety certification.     Wisconsin

  • Sport Shooting and Hunting

    If you plan to participate in sport shooting or the game farm hunts, we will provide you with safety instructions and training, as will the game farm. If you would like to partake in any additional hunting outside of the game farm, such as waterfowl or big game, you may be required to complete a firearm/hunter education course.

    In Wisconsin, you will be required to have completed a hunter education course to purchase a hunting license, if born on or after January 1, 1973. Additional information is available on the Wisconsin DNR website.

    Wisconsin
    Guest who plan to fish will be required to purchase a fishing license. The Premier Adventure Club can handle the purchase of your fishing license upon your arrival, or else you can purchase the license through Wisconsin's online licensing center.

  • Boats and Personal Watercraft

    Wisconsin
    Guests who intend to operate a boat or personal watercraft (aka, jet skis), must be born before 1989. Anyone born on or after 1989 is required to complete a boating safety course to legally operate a motorized boat or personal watercraft (PWC) on Wisconsin waters. DNR recreational safety specialists recommend all boat operators complete a safety course. Guests can complete the online course and exam through Wisconsin's online safety education by selecting the boating category.

    Guests who operate a boat or personal watercraft and are between the ages of 14-17, must complete a boating and safety education course. However, please note that we only allow guests age 16 and older to independently operate equipment. Guests can complete the online course and exam through Minnesota's DNR website.

    The participation in snowmobiling, ATVing, and all other activities offered through Premier Adventure Club, Inc., and traveling to and from sites to partake in the activities (hereinafter collectively the “ACTIVITY”) can be hazardous and involves the risk of physical injury, disability or death.

    Identification and assumption of risks

    1. (1) I accept and understand, whether I am a passenger or operator during the ACTIVITY, that the ACTIVITY is hazardous and injuries are common and ordinary occurrences. There are inherent and other risks including the possibility of permanent disability, death and injury to any part of the my body while engaging in the activity.
    2. (2) I accept the risks associated with the ACTIVITY, including but not limited to:
      • Loss of control, falling, rollovers, collisions due to natural and man-made objects and equipment, both visible and unseen: variations in surface and subsurface terrain, bare spots, rocks, logs, stumps, trees, bushes, debris, ditches, culverts, barriers, bridges, fences.
      • Loss of control, falling, rollovers, collisions due to changes in weather, temperature, wind or other natural elements.
      • Injuries and illness due to outdoor exposure including but not limited to frostnip, frostbite, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, hypothermia and dehydration; attack by and encounter with insects, reptiles, and/or animals
      • Sense of balance, physical coordination and ability to follow instructions, fatigue, chill, and/or dizziness, which may diminish reaction time and increase the risk of accident.
      • Accidents occurring in remote places where there are no available medical facilities.
      • Possible malfunction of my or other’s snowmobile and/or other equipment related to ACTIVITY.
      • Risks resulting not only from my own actions, but the actions, inactions, or negligence of myself or others, including other guests, employees, agents, independent contractors or other representatives of Premier Adventure Club, Inc including but not limited to operator failure.
    3. (3) I understand the description of these risks in paragraph (1) is not complete and that unknown or unanticipated risks may result in injury, disability or death. I assume all risks, both known and unknown, related to my participation in the ACTIVITY.
